Type locality "Chiriqui", Panama; at the time of the description "Chiriqui" included both Atlantic and Pacific versants of extreme western Panama, according to Myers, 1982
Holotype Type(s): Not stated. ZMB 7815 in the University of Amsterdam, is considered to be the holotype by museum records (Bauer, Günther, and Klipfel, 1995, Herpetol.Contrib. W. C. H. Peters: 41).

History
Physical description Size: 19mm. Pale spots (size of eye or smaller) dorsally and ventrally, possibly gold in color on a brown or dark red background.
Distribution Known only from the type locality, "Chiriqui" (possibly including Bocas del Toro of the Chiriqui Province), Panama.
Biotope
Care and breeding They can be kept at a temperature of 24-26°C.
