Holotype The holotype: LACM 42319 is located in the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, USA.

History
Physical description Size 13.5-20mm. The colour is a black base with green or yellow stripes. The dorsal stripe is interrupted at the highth of the shoulder. A lateral stripe goes from the snout, along the top of the eye, down to the ischium and back the same way along the other side. A sacond lateral stripe is located under the first stripe and is present from loin to the armpit, where it is interrupted by the arm, going on from the shoulder to the underside of the snout where it meets the first lateral stripe. On the limbs a stripe is present on the upper arm/leg from top to the knee/elbow. The fore arm / lower leg are green / yellow with black spots.
Distribution East-central Panama to north-western Colombia (Chocó, Risaralda), 160-800 m elevation.
Biotope
Care and breeding They can be kept at a temperature of 23-25°C.
