The glass section is required to keep the water inside the vivarium and provide a vision on the small water section that is going to be placed in front of the vivarium. The glass is 6 mm thick and just higher than the water return PVC system . Therefore the water will not flow over the top of the glass ( providing the return system can keep up with the water added to the vivarium via the pumps).
The glass is siliconed together with silicone kit suitable for aquaria and also fully kitted to the PVC foil so that a water tighth front is created.
The sharp edges have been removed from the glass to prevent frogs from cutting or hurting themselves.
