The first layer of peat is followed by the ground heating system. These heating wires will create the right temperature on the bottom substrate since the heat from the lamps might be too far.
There is 200 W capacity but this can be regulated up to the desired level. Maybe it is not required at all, however it is difficult to add later when planted and grown. Therefore again a safety measure.
These wires were embedded in milled peat so that the wires are pampered in a soft bed. They were kept on their position with toothpicks.
