When the peat mixture was completely applied and dried, the fern root panels were applied on the sections that were still PVC-foil. The fern root panels were sticked to the PVC with silicone suitable for aquaria. To provide more strength to the panel that will become quite heavy by the watering system on the top. Several metal hooks were hammered through the fern root and PVC in the multiplex wood panels on the side. Hooks were used and hammered in in a tilted way so that water would follow the hook away from the PVC instead of in the holes. The system is fully operational now and no water leakage whatsoever has been observed !
