Phaleonopsis orchids

One of the bigger orchids around this plant is also one of the more common orchids, usually available in most plant shops. Due to its size it is less usuable for small vivaria, although it will work well in most vivaria. The plant should however dry completely during the day after the rain or misting. And the roots should not be exposed to constant water. Therefore if one waters the backwall for a few minutes a few times a day you will have a happy plant. It will require medium to low light and a high temperature, which combination is best available at the low to middle sections near the back wall. Beautifull flowers are formed every year in my other vivarium, so lets wait for this one !
